Fuse Theatre Ensemble is looking for dancers in two capacities for our show Slap That Bitch- a hip-hop re-telling of Taming of The Shrew.

We need dancers to perform in a music video. This is a one time thing. The music video will be played each night at our show as well as posted other places for advertising.
We also need b boys and b girls willing to perform briefly in the show. Basically there’s a dance number at the top of the show. After that, your evening would be free.
This is a chance to showcase your dancing for a whole new audience.

Casting Dancers for Superbowl Event

Currently casting dancers to perform at a live event called “The Celebrity Tough Man Challenge”. The dancers will dance to 3 or 4 songs for the event that is scheduled for 01/28/10, 01/29/10, 01/30/10.

The dancers who are cast for the January “The Celebrity Tough Man Challenge” will also be cast to do a Superbowl event. The dancers cast will also perform live at an OFFICIAL Superbowl afterparty on 02/07/10.

This is an OFFICIAL Superbowl event. Dancers will receive great exposure. We are only casting experienced dancers who can “bring it”.

Anyone between the ages 16-35, male and female are all welcomed to audition. Will be selecting dancers before Friday January the 8th 2010.

Hip hop dancers needed to take part in a dance company – 6 month gig – NYC audition
I am offering an opportunity to 10 females skilled with hip hop, reggae, style, attitude and creativity to take part in a new dance company. This position will be paid and rehearsals will also be paid as well, however this can’t be discussed on craigslist due to contractual issues, however, all dancers will be required to sign a contract that will last in 6 month increments. The longer you stay, the more you do, the more you bring to the company the more you get paid. Auditions will be held in a series of 2 sessions, one will be during the day and the other will be held at night. The date and location will be disclosed when I receive an email of interest.

I must receive an email including a valid email address and telephone number in which you can be contacted and you check regularly and a valid photo. Also please specify your availability for either day time or evening hours as I need to know the amount of people to expect for each audition session. PLEASE NO FLAKES!!! I repeat NO FLAKES!!! this is not a position for someone who does not take dance seriously. You don’t have to be a background dancer for Janet Jackson but you have to the attitude that you could be. We need people who are willing to work and dance at the same time and have fun, and lastly exude excellence, if this isn’t you then let’s not waste any of our time.

All in all I will be accepting submissions all the way until Friday January 1st so get on it

We are currently casting for Break Dancers in the Los Angeles area to star in a video campaign for an internationally known company.

We want to see your best floorwork, power moves and freezes in action! Breakers who have experience with props and furniture is a plus!

We will be pre-screening your video submission before we choose the select few for a live audition. The filming will be held in late-January.

Casting for musical theater – Looking for actors and performers for a musical. The Long Beach Opera is producing “The Good Soldier Schweik“. Choreographer Ken Roht is seeking 3 male actors / dancers for the production.

Performances are Jan 23 and 30th and Rehearsals will be mostly afternoon and evenings in January.

Looking for versatile movers with experience picking up choreography and staging quickly. Clowning and gymnastics a plus, but not necessary. These actors will play soldiers, and be the “greek chorus” of the piece.

Pay is $500. stipend. Its a big commitment, so you wouldn’t be doing it for the money.
