Discovery Channel Reality TV Casting Call for “Young American Family”
Are you interested in television and being part of a ground breaking documentary special on the future of our planet? Are you a member of a family with a new baby living in a free standing home in the DC/MD/VA area? Then this posting is for YOU!!
ENERGY 2050 (working title) is a Discovery Channel Documentary Special about the future of energy use and the future of our planet. We are currently casting for a “reality recreation” with a “Young American Family” that has had a baby in the last 1-2 months. The family needs to live in a free standing home (no apartments, townhouses or duplexes) and be willing to allow us to film “a day in the life” style sequences for 2 days in the family’s home. Although this is an unpaid job, there is a cash honorarium for participation that we are certain will be appreciated.
We are hoping to film over a weekend in mid-to-late January.
Interested candidates should send one picture of the whole family (mom, dad, and child – 2 months old or younger), a picture of the exterior of their home, pictures of their kitchen and living room, the dates they are available (at least 2 consecutive days in mid to late January) and a brief description of why they think their family would be a good candidate for this role.
