“The Nightingales Sing” is an adaptation of the short story by the same name that is considered to be one of the greatest American short stories of the 20th Century.
As this is a personally funded film, roles are necessarily non-paying. Your room, board, and travel expenses will be covered.
This film is intended for festival play.
Characters Needed:
- Joanna (F) age 17, slight to average build, long hair preferred
- Chris (F) mid-twenties, average to small build, short hair preferred
- Phil (M) age 28, average build, clean-shaven
- Sandy (M) mid-thirties, average-strong build
Actors must be available for two days of rehearsal and five days of production in the Rockport/Camden area of Maine, August 17th – 23rd.
