The Black Spectrum Theatre Company (www.blackspectrum.com) is accepting submissions for its hit comedy, “Single Black Female” by Lisa B. Thompson, directed by Bette Howard. Rehearsals begin in July for three weeks. Dress rehearsal performances July 24 and 25, 2009 at Black Spectrum Theatre in St. Albans, Queens, NY.

Seeking two 30-something, versatile Black female actresses to play multiple characters in this biting comedy about middle-class single Black women. Good looking, shapely Black women of all hues and heights with plenty of sassiness, sensuality, and confidence a plus.
